Kanaha Beach Park, Maui - Hawaii

Kanaha Beach Park is located on the north side of Maui right by the airport. 

This beach is really long and has really soft sand and amazing blue water.

There is usually a lot of wind and is also known at Kite Beach for all of the kite surfers.

It is free to park and has bathrooms, showers, beach volleyball courts, and a grassy area for picnics and barbecues.

This is a great beach for long walks and to hang out all day. The entrance sign said it was open from 7am to 7pm.

Kanaha Beach Park also has plenty of parking.

Kanaha Beach Park also has a grassy picnic area and barbecue grills.

This park also has 3 beach volleyball courts.

On the east side of the beach we could see the airplanes taking off from the airport.

Overall, we loved this beach and would highly recommend it if you are visiting Maui!

• Bring sunscreen
• Bring a beach towel and beach chair
