Little Duck Key Fishing Bridge & The Old Seven Mile Bridge
Blog Post - November 16, 2020
As we were driving south on the famous 7 mile bridge in the Florida Keys we saw where the old 7 mile bridge ends and wanted to check it out.
There is a turn off on the west side of the road when you hit Little Duck Key. There is a free parking lot and public boat ramp there. We parked and saw that they had built a long fishing bridge that is part of the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. If you walk to the end of this new bridge, you will see the end of the old 7 mile bridge.
At the end of the fishing bridge is the end of the old 7 mile bridge.
This is the view from the end of the fishing bridge looking back to the parking lot. It's a long bridge.
This was a fun stop on our way down to Key West. If you get the chance, to some time to explore at Little Duck Key in the Florida Keys off of the 7 mile bridge.
The Little Duck Key fishing bridge is public, so you don't have to pay to go there.
The parking is free too.
