Oneloa Beach /Ironwoods Beach, Maui - Hawaii

Oneloa Beach is also known as Ironwoods Beach. This is because Oneloa Beach backs up to the Ironwoods Golf Course.

This beach also has a trail that goes to the Kapalua Tide Pools too.

This small beach is located on the west side of Maui between two gated residential communities. It has a small public parking lot with a public access trail to the beach.

We walked down the steps and followed the sidewalk to the beach. There was a shower area on this trail so you can wash off after going to the beach.

This beach is so beautiful and is one of favorite beaches on the west side of Maui!

This is what the public parking lot looks like: 

You walk across the street from the parking lot to access the trail to the beach.

You go down the steps and follow the sidewalk to the beach.

As you reach the end of the sidewalk, you can take the sandy trail to the beach or turn left and go down the boardwalk. At the end of the boardwalk, there is another trail that goes down to the beach or you can keep going to the tide pools and cliffs. We went down to explore Oneloa Beach.

On the southern end of the beach, you can explore some of the tide pools.

We then headed back the way we came in so we could explore the boardwalk.

The boardwalk goes the length of the beach and ends, but turns into a dirt trail. There is also another trail down to the beach on the south end.

We followed the dirt trail and explored the cliffs and views.

Overall, we loved this beach and would highly recommend it!

• Bring a hat to keep the sun off of your face.
• Bring sunscreen
• Bring a beach towel and beach chair
