Sombrero Beach in Marathon, Florida

During our visit to Marathon, Florida we decided to visit Sombrero Beach.

If you are in the Florida Keys, it's definitely worth it visiting this gorgeous beach.

It's a public beach that has public bathrooms, beach volleyball courts, covered pavilions for picnics, lots of parking and of course a beautiful beach.

You can go snorkeling, but the visibility wasn't very good.

This is a great beach to hang out by yourself or with your family and friends. Here are some pics from our visit:

We really enjoyed our day at Sombrero Beach. We can't wait to go back!

Sombrero Beach is a public beach so there is NO entrance fee.

The parking is free too.

These are the checklist items I recommend:

• Bring your own towel and umbrella for shade.
• Reef safe sunscreen
• Beach Volleyball to play on the beach volleyball courts
• Picnic to eat at covered pavilions
• Go Pro Hero 8 Black video camera
• Go Pro 3-Way Grip to hold the camera out in front of you.
