We went to Coba to explore the ancient Mayan ruins. We drove to Coba from Tulum, which took us about 45 minutes.

When we arrived, we purchased our tickets to get into the Coba ruins for $80 Mexican Pesos per ticket. I also paid a $45 Mexican Peso fee to use my GoPro to film. Once we bought the tickets, we went through the entrance.

As we walked in, they had a big map of the Coba ruins. We were going to explore Grupo Coba first and then head over to Grupo Nohoch Mul. As we walked toward Grupo Coba they had two signs in the ground pointing the way.

The Grupo Coba area had a huge temple and a ball court. It also had a sign explaining the history and all of the buildings.

Once we were done exploring the Grupo Coba area, we headed over to the Bike Taxi rental area. To get to the next area, you can do the long walk, rent a bicycle, or rent a bike taxi that seats 2 people.

We rented the Bike Taxi for $180 Mexican Pesos plus tip. This was so fun and I would definitely do it again!

We then headed out to Grupo Nohoch Mul to see the other large Mayan ruins.
