Kiahuna Beach, Kauai - Hawaii

Kiahuna Beach is located on the south side of Kauai. 

This long sandy beach has great snorkeling and beginner surfing.

When we pulled up, we saw that there was a small public parking lot and free parking along the street. After parking we walked to the beach.

They have public bathrooms on your way to the beach.

These are the amazing views as you walk Kiahuna Beach!

The east side of the beach has a great coral reef for snorkeling. It stays pretty shallow for quite a ways out.

Overall, we loved this beach and would highly recommend it!

These are the checklist items I recommend:

• Bring a plenty of water and some snacks
• Bring a hat to keep the sun off of your face.
• Bring sunscreen
• Bring a beach towel and beach chair
• Bring your snorkel gear and fins
