Best Beaches on the South Side of Kauai
I have posted each beach and snorkeling destination in order starting from the most western point on the south side of Kauai and then traveling east along the southern coast of Kauai. This will allow you to hit these beaches and snorkeling spots in order and to maximize your time in southern Kauai!

Best Beaches on the West Side of Kauai
The west side of Kauai had one of the best beaches right on the edge of the Napali Coast, but we needed a Jeep (or 4x4) to reach it. Most of the Napali Coast and its beaches are only accessible by boat, helicopter, or hiking with a permit. This is where famous movies like Jurassic Park and King Kong were filmed.

East Kauai has some of the best beaches and waterfalls. This is where we stayed on our trip to Kauai. We loved it because it was centrally located to get to either the north side or the south side of the island.
