Poipu Beach is located on the south side of Kauai.

This beautiful beach has 2 crescent shaped bays that have amazing snorkeling.

There is also a small island between the two.

We saw sea turtles, sea lions, eels, and all sorts of amazing fish snorkeling.

This beach also has lifeguards, picnic tables, pavilions, and showers.

As we were pulling up, we saw that there are two parking lots. We went to the parking lot on the right as it is the bigger one of the parking lots.

After parking, we took the sidewalk to the beach. As we were walking up to the beach there was a map showing the layout of the beach.

After checking out the map, we decided to explore the right side of the beach first and then head back to the left side where the best snorkeling is located.

As we were walking the beach, they had an area roped off around a sea lion.

There was also a roped off area for these sea turtles.

At the very far left end of the beach, there is really shallow water without any rocks that's a great place to get into the water to start snorkeling. The farther you head out, you start to get to the coral reef and that's where all of the marine life is.
