Grote Knip Beach, Curacao

Grote Knip Beach is located on the northwest side of Curacao and has amazing snorkeling.

This beach is also known as Playa Kenepa Grandi.

When you arrive, you'll find that the parking is free.

As you walk up from the parking lot, there is a beautiful overlook and stairs leading down to the beach.

As we walked up from the parking lot, we saw this sign that says Playa Kenepa Grandi. This is the other name for this beach.

As we walked past the sign, we could see the stairs that lead down to the beach. We walked over to the overlook area first to get our first glimpse of this beautiful beach.

After taking in the views, we headed back towards the steps. That's where we say the sign with all of the pricing for rentals.

We took the stairs down to the beach and headed to the far side to go snorkeling.

When we got to the end of the beach, we laid out our towels and then headed into the water to do some snorkeling. We brought our own snorkel gear. This is what we saw snorkeling:

After snorkeling on the far side of the beach, we headed back over to the side closest to the stairs. We got in and snorkeled that side next. This side was good, but not as good as the far side in our opinion.

After snorkeling, we got out and just enjoyed the beautiful views of this beach.

Overall, we loved this beach. The snorkeling was great, the views were amazing, and the parking was free. We would definitely go back to this beach!

• Bring a hat to keep the sun off of your face.
• Bring sunscreen
• Bring your own snorkeling gear
• Bring some cash if you want to to rent a beach chair (sunlounger) and parasol.
