Kahekili Beach Park/Airport Beach, Maui - Hawaii
Blog Post - September 11, 2021
Kahekili Beach Park is also known as Airport Beach. This beautiful beach has public parking that is free and bathrooms and showers. It also has a covered pavilion with picnic tables.
As you walk closer to the beach, there is a large grassy area for picnics or just hanging out.
There is also a trail that runs along the beach with multiple entrances to the beach. This beach is about 1.2 miles long.
I explored the southern end of the beach first and then went up to the north end. The sand is so soft and the views are amazing.
This is what the entrance to the beach looks like. The full name of this beach is Ali'i Kahekili Nui Ahumanu Beach Park.

As you walk up to the beach, you will see a large building that has bathrooms, showers, and a pavilion with picnic tables.

As we reached the end of the beach on the north end, the beach became much smaller with coral coming up to the shoreline. There were also lots of trees.
Overall, we had a great time at Airport Beach and would highly recommend it if you are visiting Maui!
