We spent the weekend exploring amazing hikes all around Kanab, Utah and rented this perfect townhome on VRBO. The address is 300 E 300 North, Unit J5, Kanab, Utah (El Pueblo Townhomes). This is property is located in southern Utah on the northeast side of Kanab, Utah.

We planned this trip to Kanab so we could go hiking and exploring the unique places in the area.

We went to the Moqui Sand Caves, which was only a 9-minute drive (5.3 miles). This is a 1-mile roundtrip hike that takes you through sand and then sandstone to reach these caves.

We also went to the Belly of the Dragon Hike. This is a man made drainage tunnel, but it looks like you're entering the belly of a dragon. This was a fun hike. This hike was a 20-minute drive for our townhouse rental. (16.9 miles)

We spent a whole day exploring the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. We rented sand boards and sand sleds and tried it out on these massive sand dunes. This was a 29-minute drive from our townhome rental. (20.5 mile drive)

The main reason we went to Kanab was to go hiking at White Pocket, Arizona. Kanab is one of the last cities you can stay before going to the wilderness that White Pocket is located in. It's a 2-hour 10 minute drive (76.3 miles) and you need a 4-wheel drive high clearance to make it there. With all that said, it was absolutely amazing!

After doing all these hikes it was so nice to have a rental to come back to that was comfortable and had a great community pool and hot tub.

This townhome is located in the El Pueblo Townhomes and has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

As you drive into the subdivision you'll see the El Pueblo sign. You'll go straight and pass the water fountain. On the left hand side you'll see Unit J5.

Unit J5 has 1 covered parking space. As you pull up you'll see it painted on the ground of the parking space.

Just past the parking space is the sidewalk that leads to the townhome. When you walk up there is a keypad on the door to get in.

As you walk in you have the living room on the right hand side and the stairs to go up on the left.

When you walk through the living room it takes you to the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen has a laundry closet with a washer and Dryer. The kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and a double sink.

As you walk back through the living room and towards the stairs there is a hallway that leads to the half bathroom.

Next we are going to go upstairs where there are 3 bedroom and 1 full bathroom.

The full bathroom is shared with the main bedroom and the other 2 bedrooms. It is set up with a sink/vanity for the 2 bedrooms and a sink/vanity for the main bedroom. There are sliding doors between the vanity rooms and the main bathroom. This is what it looked like:

The main bedroom has a King size bed, a large screen TV, surround sound, a walk-in closet, and a ceiling fan.

In the hallway between the bedrooms there are open shelves with extra towels and games.

The 2nd bedroom has a bunkbed, a big screen tv, and a closet.

The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and a closet.

Next, we are going to go back downstairs to the dining room and go out the sliding glass doors. Outside there is a patio with a table and chairs.

Directly behind the patio is the clubhouse, pool, and hot tub. With this rental we got a keycard to use these facilities. We went to the pool each day.

Overall, we had a great time staying here and loved doing all of these amazing hikes around Kanab. We would definitely go back and rent this townhome again.
