Paradiso Beach has a beachfront restaurant, turquoise water, and soft sand.

It’s located on the east side of Long Island in the Bahamas.

From the Queen's Highway we took paved roads until we reached the sign for Paradiso Beach Club Open. That's where we turned onto the dirt road that takes you to the beach.

As you pull up, you'll find a small free dirt parking lot in front of the restaurant.

As we walked up to the Paradiso Beach Club and Restaurant, we met the owner and found out that he is only open on Fridays and Sundays after 4pm. We were there on a Monday in the early afternoon so he wasn't open for business.

The deck of the restaurant overlooks Paradiso Beach. This would be an amazing place to eat. I guess we will have to go back.

From the restaurant, we walked down a steep trail to the beach and started exploring. This beach has a long stretch of sand that is great for walking. The sand was really soft. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but the water was a little too rough on the day that we went to get in. The drone footage shows lots of reefs here, so we definitely want to come back. This is what Paradiso Beach looks like.

Overall, we had a great time at Paradiso Beach even though we couldn't eat here or snorkel here. We were blown away by the beauty of this beach and we definitely want to come back to eat and snorkel here.

CHECKLIST:

These are the checklist items I recommend:

  • The restaurant is open Fridays and Sundays after 4pm. Bring some money to get some food and drinks. On other days bring your own food and water.
  • Bring a hat.
  • Bring sunglasses.
  • Bring reef safe sunscreen.
  • Bring your own snorkeling gear. The day we went the water was too rough for snorkeling, but on a calm day this would be a good place to snorkel.
