Roses Little Harbor and Beach is a remote beach located on the southeast side of Long Island in the Bahamas.

From the Queen's Highway we turned off onto this long one-lane dirt road that takes you to the beach.

When you're getting close there is a turnoff that takes you directly to the beach. If you go farther there is a turnoff that Google Maps takes you that is the better spot for getting in the water to go snorkeling.

We parked our Jeep and got out to start exploring.

Note: The day that we went the mosquitos were really bad. There was still a lot of standing water from Hurricane Mellisa that was creating lots of mosquitos. We spayed down with mosquito spray and walked over to the water.

This large bay has really shallow water. It's best to bring water shoes to explore these shallow waters.

You can see that this is a really large bay. Next time we come here, we are going to bring a kayak or paddle boards to explore more of this area.

As we were walking the shoreline, we noticed a lot of little small turtles swimming.

• The road to get there is a dirt road so a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
• Bring a paddle board or kayak to explore the bay.
• Bring water shoes.
• Bring your own snorkeling gear.
